Just finished up this municiple government website for a small village in SE British Columbia. http://www.salmovillage.ca It is being redirected temporarily until the domain name propagates. I have used the repository module here extensively so that the staff at the office can upload council meeting minutes, bylaws, policies, monthly reports etc. Staff also has edit roles for most of the other pages. It should be a hands off site with the village staff looking after the updates. At least that is the plan. Comments and critiques welcome.

    Very nice.

I would try to get a bit more than just the page name into all of the  les.

As I'm sure you know, there are a couple of places where the styling of modules doesn't fit with the site. The events calendar and the google map are two that really seem out of place. Also, the repository pages could use a little background darkening, IMHO.

But, it's an overall very nice site!

Thanks for the input. I appreciate it.
When you say more than just the page name into the les what do you mean?  Do you mean keywords and description in the page properties?  I have that on my to do list but not yet had the time.

Yes, I agree with he calendar module looking out of place, I would like to make it earth tones but do not have that skill.

    Thanks again,
    Monte

If I go to the About Us page, what appears as the  le is About Us.  Use something  About Us - Village of Salmo.

Oh ... the happy face favicon seems a bit out of place.

As for changing the theme of the events module, it's "just" a css file.  I would take one of the existing themes, copy and rename it, and then edit the css file.  You'll probably want to change only colors, so that should be fairly simple.  Ask over on the Events forum at dotnetnuke.com, and I'm sure that there will be plenty of advice available.
