This is a site I have been working on in my "spare" time. Not a lot of content yet as we are in the process of collecting all the pics of the restoration project we've done over the last 2 years.

I am still working out what I am going to do with the menu/navigation, but most of the skin is complete as well as the default container for the site.

The goal of the skin was to have the same theme that the actual car itself has.

Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

    Lee,

Great job on this site, even old DNN'rs like myself can learn a lot from your efforts!

Kind of ironic that the sIFR tutorials use a Hemi 426 font.

Going to just HAVE to work that into my module headers.

    Hello,

Glad to hear you find the site useful, perhaps you would like to add a testimonial into the forum?
    http://www.dnncreative.com/Forum/ta...fault.aspx

Let us know how you get on with sIFR as some of the users have had problems incorporating it with DNN 4.3.5 - make sure you read the addendum on the sIFR tutorial page.

I really like sIFR it can totally transform the look of the site.

Regarding feedback, I really like the design.

As you say, the menu needs some work as at first I didn't even see it.

The only comment I would have is that the page is quite a large download. I would try to lighten the images used, particularly of the dodge at 136kb - you maybe able to get this down to 20kb or less.

The page took a while to complete loading up which may have been due to those images.

That is my only comment, if you are going to implement sIFR then I would make sure the page loads as quickly as possible as sIFR adds another wait for the titles to load into the page.

If you ever experiment with CSS designs it would be interesting to try it out with your design as you could potentially get rid of a lot of the table design used in the layout and get the content to be displayed higher up in the source code, which is the main concern for the search engines. - CSS layout would also reduce the page load time.

Overall looks good, keep us informed of your progress,

    Cheers,

    Lee,

I haven't had a chance to resize the home page thumbnails, right now they are just using the HTML editor sizing options, which as you know, doesn't redue the image size. I'll get to that soon.

Still working on the sIFR injection locally, I am hoping to get more time on it soon.

    GM,

Those containers were pretty tough, spent lotsa time in Photoshop trying to get them "usable".

Thanks for the reviews guys. I am working out some more sponsor details and have been working on the car lately as well.

I am hoping to get more time on the website over the next few weeks.
