I am new to DNN and I have made a skin based on a site my client pointed me to.  I think it turned out nice.  If you go to Photos you will see a sample photo gallery.  The site is very large, 1000 pixels wide.  Client wanted large photos but I am not sure if it is a good idea.  Client has a 26 inch wide-screen monitor.

Looks good. The photos that are on there look ok on 1024 x 768 resolution. I wouldn't go any larger than that though so the majority of viewers can see the images without scrolling. I would suspect that your clients customers would have up to date technology so I wouldn't worry about 800x600 monitors for instance.

I used Ultra Gallery from BizModules. It is really nice software. THank you for the input. The site is designed to be in at least 1024 x 768 and the pictures are set to be no wider than 900 and no taller than 525 (I think).

Did the pictures load fast enough for you in the UK?

Yes it loaded fine
