    Hi Lee,

Just finished the latest tutorials from Issue no. 9. Once again thanks, these tutorials are FANTASTIC.

Could you tell me when you will continue with these other areas of your 'How to Build a Website in DNN"

    • Request a Quote
    • Request a FREE CD

These two areas are the two I am having huge problems solving.

    Thanks.

    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

Glad you have found the tutorials useful. Those two sections will be some months away yet. The next section will be looking at how to present mp3s / mpegs etc. I need to carefully consider how I'm moving forward with these sections as I need to research the various modules that are currently available and if none of them are up to my requirements, I then need to programme a module. - If I have to create a module, the problem is which version of DNN do I create the module for?

And if I go into the module creation tutorials I will then have to set an issue to one side of how to configure your computer for creating modules. - So, as you can see, it's going to be quite a long process.

I'm currently putting together a pdf document which analyses every single class that comes as default with DNN and provides the information on exactly what the class affects. - So it's likely that the next step of how to build a website will actually be in issue 11, looking at mp3 modules.

If you do any research into these areas and find any info, then let me know. - One of the modules I want to test out is: http://dnn310.ucanuse.com/PortalMod...fault.aspx

For requesting info though, it could be possible to use the feedback module that comes as standard with DNN.

Let me know your progress as it would be interesting to include any of your thoughts into the research. Thanks,
