This is directed toward Lee but anyone can answer.

I'm trying to record soem training video with a focus on high quality screen and low file size.
I'm currently using camtasia studio4 which will encode a 7min video into 35MB @1024x768.  Saved as .SWF, framerate: auto.

Lee I noticed you videos are close to 10 minutes and only a file 6MB-10MB.  You also use relatively few frames.
Are you recording the mouse onscreen or adding it later. Is this alot of time being spent in post production using animation vs direct recording?
Is there a tutorial that you followed which you can link?

I woudl like to get 7 minutes of video @1024x768 to less 10MB or less.

I use adobe captivate which takes care of the file size. Yes, a lot of time is taken editing the videos.
