I am a newbie. Just started working on a site and when I tried to login today, I get no Login page. Did I click on some option that I shouldn't have? Is there a way to recover from this, like accessing the site with ftp and putting something back?

Have you changed the site's skin from one of the standard skins supplied with DotNetNuke?

When you say that there is no login page, does that mean that there is no login link visible on the page that you first see when visiting the site?

Is the site available on the internet so that I could actually look at it?

I am using a portal off a site where a dnn class is being taught. I used one of the skins available (OfficialBlue). I made some site setting changes.

I saw the "Login" at the top, but when I clicked on it, nothing happened. I have contacted the teacher and he has resolved it, but didn't explain very well what I must have done. Something about under the site setting where I must have changed something about the Home page.

If you can provide a better understanding of what I did I would appreciate it.

Lee, Thanks for the quick response to my posting.

Without knowing exactly what you did, or what your teacher did to fix it, it's hard to give you an answer. What did your teacher tell you?

Here was my teacher's response and fix.

"Your login was set in admin settings to homepage for login. That is only if you have added the login module to your home page. I unchecked it"

Thanks again for the reply and I'm sure I'll be learning a lot more in the days to come.

I understand. You specified that the login page should be the home page, but you didn't add the login module to the home page.
