    Hi,

I have a requirement to design a DNN website that looks similar to the following template.

    http://www.templatehelp.com/preset/...aP4lGAKmRA

This example uses flash which is not required in the DNN version. However, my client would like the menu structure as shown and the ability to 'split' the menu (left and right) so that it surrounds the content pane. (Without all the funky slide functionality of course).

I can't see a way to replicate this type of functionality in DNN without hard-coding the menu items into HTML elements which would essentially make it non-DNN in terms of the menu functionality, permissions and security.

    Any suggestions gratefully received!

    Thanks,

    Marcus

    I'm sorry that I haven't responded sooner.

I've seen an example where the menu is split with the site's logo between the two parts. I think that I saw this at snapsis.com in a discussion of their NAV Menu. You might want to ask there.

My guess, though, is that the split there is static and not dynamic. So I would recommend that you ask them if it can be done with that menu system.
