    What have I done wrong.

I entered “goldcoastwebwiz” as search on Google, and four entries came up as response.

First hit was OK, and it did have the home page as landing page.

The search engine text display was also OK.

Second hit was the “Contact Us” page.

Search engine text here was a stack of E-mails and other irrelevant information.

Third and Fourth hit was the “Terms of Use” and the “Privacy Statement” on the “mudgeerabahilltons” website???

    Here’s the Google display text:

    Jack Canfield, Your Success Coach.

If you believe that gold coast accommodation has not adhered to this Statement, please contact gold coast accommodation at admin@goldcoastwebwiz.com. ...
    www.mudgeerabahilltons.com/DotNetNuke/InfoEducation/JackCanfield/tabid/239/ctl/Privacy/Default.aspx - 33k - Cached - Similar pages

This is a “Jack Canfield” heading but the page is “Privacy Statement”, page on the “Mudgeerabahilltons” Web site. Remembering that the search word was “goldcoastwebwiz” then there must be a serious stuff up with the SEO!?!

Well Google is just presenting any pages that have the term goldcoastwebwiz in the text of the page, so if your email address is in the terms and privacy on another site it will be presented in the search results, also for instance this forum post will now also be picked up in the search results.

This is not a search term that people are likely to enter if they are looking for your services, shouldn't you really be targeting "Gold Coast Web Design" etc. - You need to compile a list of search keywords and then create the content to target those keywords.

    Thanks,
