    Hi Joe.
Hope all is good and prosperous for you.

Do You have any recent tutorial, regarding Tags and SEO.

I have never used the “Tags” field in the page settings, so how do I populate that drop-down?
    Does this generate “metadata tags”?

The Keywords field apparently generates “keyword” meta tags right?
Recently I seen in forums that search engines doesn’t pay any attention to keyword meta tags any longer is this correct?

Any other valuable SEO information that I should know?

    Thanks MATE.

    Olle...

PS; I am working on a couple of very small landing pages, can I please have some feedback, some SEO or other traffic generating ideas? THANXXXXX

    Here are some resources:

There is also a very nice webinar: DotNetNuke SEO Webinar but it is inaccessible at the moment as DNN continues to roll out their new website.

Google "DotNetNuke SEO" for some other ideas.

Using the page name, description, and keywords for each separate page will populate the appropriate meta tags. Look at this tutorial: Basic DNN7 SEO - How to Add Site Metadata - Description and Keywords

Yes, the keyword meta tags are not terribly useful.

Good descriptions and page names, along with good "semantic" organization of your pages is best. This latter part means that important stuff should appear near the top of the page, and in h1, h2, h3 tags
