Hi,

I want to display a small size image in my module, when user clicks that image the image should be expanded as a pop-up where that image can be seen, and then by clicking on Cross (X) you can close that view.

This can be done using Light-Box In simple e.ASP

Is it also possible in DNN?
If yes, how?

There are some modules that will display images and popup views of them using Ligtbox. Two free ones are from Will Strohl (willstrohl.com) and Oliver Hine (oliverhine.com). There are others.

If this is for a single image, it is possible to do this using the Lightbox tools and HTML. In that case, you can put most of what you ineed in an HTML module. I have not done this, though.
