I want to extend a very warm thank you to Lee for the Christmas Present.  All those modules and skins... that is an amazing value.

I am wondering if you are using DNN to do all your emailing to your subscribers.  I have a client who sends out a lot of newsletters and they use a third party for it that charges quite a lot.  Is DNN a good reliable way to send out email to large numbers of subscribers?  I am thinking the amount of users would be about 2000.

Also, is there a tracking facility built into dnn that would track who read their email?  Or perhaps you could recommend a module that would do this for us.

    Hi Mike, it's a pleasure!

I don't use DNN to send out emails, I use a web based email marketing service: www.constantcontact.com

    another one is www.aweber.com

Once I got past 500 I found that sending the emails through my hosting provider was not a reliable way of sending the emails, so I opted for a web service. You will notice that most developers and dotnetnuke.com use a third party to send out their emails.

    Thanks,
