    Hi Lee

What software do you recommend in order to create an image of a full web page or skin?

The software I am currently using is capable of capturing an image of the screen, but sometimes this is not enough for the full page.

    Thanks

    Lynn

    Hi Lynn,

All I do for capturing images of a web page / skin is to press the PrtSc button and then open an image editor programme such as Fireworks and press CTRL+V to paste in the image.

If I need to create an image of a long page, I just create several screen captures and then paste them together in Fireworks to create one large image.

    Thanks,

I recommend Webshot, a free utility to grab a scrolling screenshot of a web page. in the TestComplete blog I wrote about how to use it with software testing.

NICE FIND! I was just about to suggest setting your monitor to a really high resolution, then capture the page, but WebShot looks awesome! Be trying it tonight when I get home.
