Removing "HOME" menu item, and linking to an anchor?
DNN 4:9 and the Andreas 01 Skin.

    Hi Guys..

I am trying to do a couple of “Landing Pages” HERE:

    http://www.q1-resort-spa.com/Luxury...fault.aspx

    http://www.q1-resort-spa.com/Holida...fault.aspx

I have set it to have the Home page not showing in the menu, and I set it to Administrator View only.

It "HOME" still don’t want to go away from the menu?

If that is prevented in the system, what is the best way to hide the Menu altogether?

CSS must be formatting only, so do I need to remove the “HOUSEMENU” token in the skin HTML file?

Secondly I having links targeting a page anchor:

    http://www.q1-resort-spa.com/Contac....aspx#Form

This anchor link works on the page where I have placed the anchor, but from other pages it goes to the top of the page only?

    Any bright ideas?

    Cheers

    Hmmm, I'm not sure.

When I set the Home page not to be included in the menu of my test site (4.9 and a different skin), the Home page disappears. The problem shouldn't be in the skin, but it could be in the menu. You might want to try a different skin temporarily for testing.

As for the anchor tag, the one that you have in the text doesn't work either.

    Thanks Joe

The "P" in the first line is a hyperlink to the anchor:

Please fill in a few small details below, and your Holidays or Business Stopover is in the making.

    The hyperling works.
But you're partly right about pasting in the link in the address window.

If I'm in the top of the page it doesn't seem to work, but if I'm elsewhere it takes me to the Anchor?????

Will set the skin to "Not Selected" and tst this as well as tyhe menu issue.

    Cheers....

    OK.
With now skin specified the "HOME" link disapears off the Menu, so that is the Andreas01 skin or the housemenu trick.

    Regarding the link.
Anchor links doesn't seem to be working in Firefox!?!?

The on page link works in IE, and it works if I pased the address and press enter from the bottom of teh page.

Paste the address and click refrech doesn't work.

    Geee ????

Any tricks for this one out there?

    Have a great weekend...

It's probably the house menu that is causing the home problem, you could simply remove the house menu token from the skin for your landing page.

I'm not sure about any anchor link tricks, thanks,
