    Curiously Green Skin problem

Using Curiously Green and “H1 Containers”, I have problem with the drop-down menu list in the left pane.

The drop-down, and the “GO” button to its left expands into the “content pane”, seemingly going under any modules in the content pane.

Consequently I can’t select module-menu-items in the left pane if there is already a module next to it in the content pane.

Geee….  Was that understandable?  Almost lost myself there..

Any nice trix to get around that problem?

    Have a good one...

Interesting, when I log into the live curiously green website I don't have that problem, however I have come across that problem in other skins when it is a fluid width skin, the solution there is to just expand the width of the browser window that you are viewing.

However, for the curiously green skin it is a fixed width so this is not an option. If the drop-down list is causing you a problem, then you could replace it with the standard actions token. - just compare the code with the default DotNetNuke containers and you will be able to use the standard container menu.

I use the drop-down actions menu so that it does not load the JavaScript for the standard DotNetNuke menu which helps to improve performance a little, but if you are getting problems it will be fine to use the standard menu.

    Hope this helps, thanks,

    Hi Lee

Yea I might change it – sometime.
(YOU will probably hear from me when I start messing around with the skins Lee.)

At the moment I remove the content from big “content pane modules”, thus leaving that pane free for the left modules to expand into. Quite a bit of work.

BUT – I see different width on these drop down boxes, can’t I just shrink them a bit? Just 10 -15% smaller will probably make the functions accessible???

    Just an idea…

You maybe able to identify an id for the drop downs by using the web developer toolbar. - if you can find an ID, you may be able to specify positioning / width of the drop-down menus.

    Thanks,
