Is there anyway to get a notification, such as to you email or when you log in, when someone posts a question?

Yes, when you post a message there is a check box at the bottom that you can tick to receive replies by email.

If you click on a forum post there is also a check box to subscribe by email to a thread.

Also if you click on a forum heading there is a check box at the top to subscribe to any forum posts that are posted within that forum heading.

You can also get the RSS feeds - just look for the orange icon on the forum
