I have found when applying Blowery Http compression utility on DNN 4.3.4,  the 'File Manager' is no longer available, due to a conflict of files within the bin folder.

An alternative solution, to enable Http compression on DNN 4.3.4, without loosing the file manager is a free module: Snapsis (PageBlaster), available here:

I have tried this with DNN 4.3.4 and I have retained my File Manager.

I just installed the pageBalster module and it seems to have made large improvement on most of my DNN pages. My first page normally took anywhere from 15-20 seconds to load and now loads almost instantly.
