using the housemenu like skinobject i have a problem, in IE6 the div go over the top of the modules, and get too large (in height).

in firefox works better, but is really closer to the modules.

    how can make it work?

    please help!!

Can I first check that you have set up your browser to work in standards compliance mode and not quirks mode?

Check this tutorial for further info: Browser Quirks, Standard Compliance modes and Doc Types

This fixes a lot of the cross browser problems that you get when working with CSS.

Do you have a link for us to look at the menu?

    Thanks,

Ok, so everything will be working correctly then.

Thinking about it, I looked at the Horizontal menu first when creating the skin but came across a problem in IE7. - I took the horizontal menu examples from the www.houseofnuke.com website, but unfortunately IE7 did not exist when they were created. - I know that Tim is currently working on a solution.

If you are doing a horizontal menu, you may find sources of CSS coding help from: http://css.maxdesign.com.au/listamatic/

There is a list of Horizontal menus which you can view. - These menus provide the CSS coding for styling an unordered list, which is exactly what the HouseMenu produces.

Make sure you test your skin in IE7 and the various other browsers for any compatibility issues.

Hope this will provide some possible solutions, thanks,
