Hi!

I need to add on my website some features to manage vendors and their promotional banners.

I'm no sure to use the features included in DNN default installation or if there is some better module to install.
I've read two your articles (http://www.dnncreative.com/VendorsB...fault.aspx and http://www.dnncreative.com/Articles...ault.aspx) but they are articles old of almost ten years and I do not know how much reflects the current state of things

Anyone can give me some suggestion following the recent experience?

The Vendors and Banners modules are very old module and believe it or not they haven't changed much (if at all!) in the past decade. They are not great modules, but they work as advertised. We have clients using it and it works just fine for them.

I haven't seem anything better than those yet, but I found this http://store.dnnsoftware.com/home/p...manager-61 which is a bot old. I suggest to stick to what DNN has out of the box to get you started.

If you need to go beyond that, you may want to consider services like http://www.adbutler.com - They have the entire management interface and you just add a script to your site. There are many others.
