Yes. You will need to go to the settings of the HTML module and check the box to enable token replacement. And, the tokens aren't replaced until the page is rendered.

No, there is no provision for defining custom tokens.

I added a Flash .SWF file to my website using the Telerik RAD Editor's Flash Manager, and it works fine on both my Macbook and my Windows PC, but as expected, it does not display on my iPod Touch. How would I go about displaying an alternate file, such as a .JPG or animated .GIF, for mobile devices such as the iPhone and the iPod Touch, that don't support Flash? Thanks. |

I'm a real fan of the free DigFlash module from DigNuke.com. One of the module settings is the HTML content to be displayed if there is no flash player. So ... you just put your content there and you are done with it. The editor embeds the flash file as an object, not a swfobject. I think that is a much less flexible approach than using swfobject. If you need to do this in a text/html module, I'd recommend that you look at the html that DigFlash generates and use that in your module. |

Thanks, Joe! I ended up using SWFObject 2 ( http://code.google.com/p/swfobject/...entation), since I'm not sure if DigFlash is using the most recent version of SWFObject, but I added their link to my notes and will keep them in mind. I hadn't heard of SWFObject until a few days ago, so this information was definitely helpful. Thanks again. |

Hi all, I am new to this forum and I really do not know if you have discussed it before. I am trying to insert a link. I write the test, select it, press the link button and the pop up window that is coming up, contains an error and not the standard functionality interface of the editor. This happened suddenly yesterday, by the time that I was trying also to insert a link. An error came up (which I didn't keep as I thought that the issue will be solved with a simple logoff - logon proccess) and since then the link functionality of the editor is "destroyed"! Could you please help me on this? Would you like to post something more in order to help you define the issue? Thank you in advance!

Could you post a screen shot of the error and any text? Which version of DotNetNuke are you using? |
