The tutorials were well done and very useful.....should save a lot of time getting started. Is is possible to change the link "Register" to "Create User Account" or change the link "Update Registration" to "Update Your Profile"?

    Glad they are useful,

Yes, go to Module Configuration / Link Buttons

In there you will see the text can be changed, or even replaced with an image

Does the module allow exporting of the captured user data to something like a CSV file? I don't think the DNN core Users module does this. Or is a separate module required in order to export all the user data?

It looks like Issue 32 provides instructions on how to use SQL to capture this info:

    Hi Ken,

Both our Interactive User Import/Export can handle this, and also Dynamic User Directory (can export all DNN Core user fields and user profile fields). Dynamic User Directory is even better because you can search and filter before exporting.

Let me know if you have any questions, here are the product links:

    and

    Thanks!

Ok, I'm like one of those kids who can't wait to get to the end... love the module, exactly what i needed. gone through part 1 videos and wondering, can the module send a validation email with a validation code similar like the DNN registration form? Also can I use the validation code sent as the user's profile to log in to the site?

Yes, you can send emails when people register. I don't have a working site that uses Dynamic Login, but I do recall that you can do that easily. The module also supports a number of login methods.

Lee, I followed both tutorials to the tee and my registration works as you set it up. However, know I find that I need to have a username that can't be the email address. I made a copy and played with it but messed it up. My next step will be to go back through the tutorials to see if I can change it but,if its not too complicated, can you send me steps to do this?

    Laura,

Can't you just undo the configuration to use the email address as the username?

The buttons in the 1st registration module are no longer working to drag to add, delete or duplicate a field. I went back through the entire series to better understand what I had done and how things worked and now do. I thought this may have been due to how the modules were configured but it isn't. Any thoughts as to why this 1 of the 3 modules is no longer responding?

    That's odd.

Which version of DotNetNuke and which version of Dynamic Registration are you using?

Ok, I got the answer; Joe please let Lee know this so he can update his series. In his series, he puts 2 Dynamic Registration modules on the same page. From Data Springs, "there is a limitation with the drag/drop feature of Dynamic Forms and Dynamic Registration where the drag and drop features will not work if you have two separate instances on the same page."

Each of the 3 instances of DR he creates in the series need to be on separate pages.
