Hello there Lee and Joe and whoever else might be interested in this post. I noticed Lee you had a tutorial in regards to Markit slideshow module back in June, 2009. I purchased mine in September as version 3.1 and soon after alerted them about a bug found when upgrading to DNN 5.1.2 that caused them to come out with a minor version patch fix. This is not the main reason for my post however I am posting because when using the JJ Rasper template provided by Markit I found these buttons disappearing only in ie 7 and 8 and couldn't figure out for the life of me why as I uninstalled the module, re installed got rid of the markit slideshow directory in the desktop modules folder and reestablished it with a copy from a backup that I knew I didn't have the problem with. I even went to the extent of deleting from the database all the stored procedures and tables that had markit slideshow on it thinking somehow these tables must have currupted in the database. What I discovered tonight is none of these were the problem as the navigational buttons continued to be underneath the pictures instead of on top of them. What I found was that when I made my skin (that an instance of this module was placed on) standards compliant via an xml file that is when this started happening. Don't even know how I happened to trip over this tonight except that I was just fooling around with different browser modes using my ie 8 and tried quirks mode and the butons were properly layering ontop of the slide instead of underneath it. I am going to report this bug to markit but thought it might be of interest to you all since there was a tutorial on how to use it. Take care, Bo P.S. I know this wasn't a question and in the future if you have a better place for these types of posts such as for comments let me know. Thanks again.
