    Hi Lee,

If you don't mind me asking, how have you made your registration and user profile management system.  It appears to be using the native DNN registration but it is not confusing.

I set up a system for a client at www.breastcancersnowrun.org.  I followed your tutorial and created custom fields and lists.  To register for the site then they have to pay 50 to paypal one time.  It all works now but it is confusing and ugly yet your's is nice and easy to understand.  Are you using a third party component?  If so which one?  Would you like me to post this in the forum?

They way your's works now is I can log in and click on my name to edit my profile.  I have all my information visible and on that page is the services I am registered to.  It is great.  Mine stinks and my client is stressed out.  Please help.

    Hello,

DNN C. is currently still running on 3.2.x so it is still on the old registration system. - This will not make any difference to you setting it up on DNN4.3.x however ...

If you click on the subscribe page, this is setup using Ventrian Systems subscription module.

This is something I have wanted to setup for a long time as the default subscription setup in DNN is not great in terms of simplicity for the user!

I've also created a second 'My Account' page which is the registration module and the subscription module placed on one page.

The main reason I also switched to this module is because the default DNN subscription setup automatically renews the payments in PayPal, which most customers will not be happy with.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks,

This helps a great deal.  Thanks.   I found that when I created my Security Role that required the $50 fee, I was able to choose "One Time Fee" from the dropdown and as long as I put a 1 in the recurring field, it does not renew annually, it is a one time thing.  Does Paypal still set it up as a recurring?
