    Hello,

I've been following the Video Tutorials on customizing the FCK Editor.  We have our portal setup to display a list of custom styles and the editor is previewing/displaying the styles correctly.

However, we have run into a problem.  We are using DNN Profession 4.9.2. When we make changes to our fckstylescustom.xml file and then upload the file using the custom editor options, the changes do not take effect as in the tutorial.  We have tried deleting the file using the Admin File Manager and also have tried restarting the Application.  It looks like DNN is caching the XML file somehow.

Any suggestions on how to get around this?

    Thank you,

    Michael

    Hello,

Yes sometimes caching can become an issue, I would try:

Go to Host Menu / Host Settings, scroll to bottom, restart application
Clear Your browser cache - you can do this using the web developer toolbar quickly in Firefox
Click on Refresh Editor when viewing the FCK Editor

Thank you for the quick reply.

We have been using IE8 now.  The above plus closing the browser and reopening it solved the problem.  Switching to FireFox for these changes.

    Thanks!
