I have been trying to convert some of the older SWF tutorials to a format that I can load on my Zune or iPod. I tried several SWF conversion applications without success. When I perform the conversion, the only section that gets converted is the opening and not the body. So far, I tried about 6-7 applications all with the same outcome. Can you offer any suggestions?

    Thanks
    Ray

you can convert swf to wmv format for your zune and convert swf to mp4 or h.264 for your ipod.
there are many swf to video converters can do that, but maybe you really got a bad luck.
you can just follow my choice, i use iwisoft swf to wmv converter which can convert swf to h.264 as well. good luck!

    This FLV Encoder: http://www.swf2ipad.com/flv-encoder.html
is a feature-rich video to Flash solution combined with Flash video encoder, video to flash swf converter, and even Flash video player maker. It can fast convert any video to Flash FLV and SWF, including AVI, MP4, 3GP, MPEG, WMV, etc, and even HD MOV, MKV, M2TS and MTS.

    Hi Ray, this is interesting...

I am encoding all recent and future tutorials in h.264 to try to cater for the mobile market.

The latest video series should work on your iPod (does it have wifi?).

I'd be interested to know if it works ok for you and can you visit the video on wifi, wait until it has fully downloaded / buffered and then watch the video later without an internet connection?

Cheers, also, let me know if you manage to convert the swf's and how the quality is.

I thought that you can try to transform your videos to WMV or AVI format, the iPod supports these format.
You can use Free SWF to AVI Converter to achieve the goal.

    hi all,

i trying to put a swf video on my website. In my development environment the video plays well, but when I put it on my website, it does not appear. I simply put the swf file into an html module. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to provide something else? Do I need to use another module?

    thanks for any tips.

I highly recommend DigFlash from dignuke.com. A great and FREE module.

It is designed to embed flash movies in DotNetNuke sites, and it does that superbly.

The video to flash converter is the best choice.
