Hi Lee,

Do you know if there are any shopping carts and custom registration and enquiry forms available for DNN 4.x?

I'm having real trouble tracking down something that is suitable and cost effective.

I'd like to display some products, have a cart and use PayPal for payment processor.

I'd also like to capture Company Name of users which does not list in registration module.

Also, do you know of a module that can be used as an enquiry form? I'd like to be able to have a form that goes through a series of questions for propsects to complete.

Thanks.

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

I haven't looked that deeply into shopping carts, all I can suggest is that you look around on Snowcovered. Catalook is one of the noticeable names, but I've noticed a lot of people struggle to set it up and I don't think it's very user friendly.

Adjusting registration module, you have 2 options, programme your own or try out:

I've heard mixed views on the module, so I would encourage you to test it thoroughly first before using it in a production environment.

I haven't used this module yet so i can't provide any advice, but it looks perfect for the job.

An enquiry form, there are a few modules on snowcovered, but again at the moment I can't recommend any, you may find the XMod module is useful, I used it for DNNv2, but haven't used it since - it does take a bit of reading though to set it up.

Thanks,

Lee

Express Lane to be upgraded to DNN Version 4 - Tuesday, 2 May 2006
After an overwhelming response to eXpress Lane for DotNetNuke Version 3, Byte has decided to upgrade the online store solution to Version 4. Watch this site over the next few weeks for more information/launch date.
