Hi;
I have my DNN hosted on a VPS running 32 bit Windows 2003. Recently I had some issues with the Non-Paged Pool memory (NPP) reaching its limit causing the server to not respond to any requests anymore.

My hosting company told me the only fix is to move to a 64 bit installation. I am using DNN 4.9.2 with various 3rd party modules installed.

DataSprings Collection
DNNArticle
iFinity URL Master

Does anyone know of any problems moving onto 64bit Windows? My understanding is there should not be any problems as the applications/module are compiled in 64 bit they should still run the 32 bit address space.

Any feedback welcome
Thanks
Thomas

Not sure on this question, my server is on 32-bit windows 2008. If you decide to go this route, make sure everything is completely backed up so that you can revert back to 32-bit if you are having problems.

Does anyone else have any experience with hosting on 64-bit Windows?
