sorry for the many questions of housemenu :-)

This is a part of my XML file, refering to housemenu:

  <Object>
    <Token>[HOUSEMENU]</Token>
    <Settings>
      <Setting>
        <Name>Scope</Name>
        <Value>-1</Value>
      </Setting>
      <Setting>
        <Name>ShowAdmin</Name>
        <Value>True</Value>
      </Setting>
      <Setting>
        <Name>IsRecursive</Name>
        <Value>True</Value>
      </Setting>
      <Setting>
        <Name>Orientation</Name>
        <Value>V</Value>
      </Setting>
      <Setting>
        <Name>Mode</Name>
        <Value>S</Value>
      </Setting>
      <Setting>
        <Name>CSSElementID</Name>
        <Value>houseMenuNav</Value>
      </Setting>
    </Settings>
  </Object>

and this is my CSS: (housemenu part)
#houseMenuNav{
    cursor: pointer;
    color:white;
    font-size: 10pt;
    font-weight: normal;
    background-color: Transparent;
    font-family: Arial, Arial (Hebrew), David (Hebrew), Courier New (Hebrew);
    padding:4;

}
#houseMenuNav ul{
    padding:0;
    border:0;
    margin:0;
    list-style:none;
}
#houseMenuNav li{
    padding:0;
    border:0;
    margin:0;
    list-style:none;
}

none of the css are working :-( i also tried to change it from "#" to "." but it doesn't work, I tried to upload the files (xml and css) directly, and also to package them in a zip files and use installResources link. Didn't work. So what am i doing wrong ?

And another question related: It seems housemenu has limited desgin capabilities. Suppose i want to desgin it exactly as the previuos solpartmenu that was there - is it possible? I need to have diffreent desgin in the sub menus, in the selected mode of the menu and the sub menus, i need menu seperators and etc. Is it flexible enough to be designed as solpart?

Thanks!

Do you have a URL to look at?

Have you tried installing this skin and got it working correctly with the HouseMenu?
Free Skin - Simple Red Leaf CSS Skin

If you compare your code to the skin above it may help

housemenu has limitations in as far as styling any other CSS menu - all it is is an un-ordered list.

I would suggest you check out these tutorials:
How to install and configure the House of Nuke menu for a DotNetNuke skin

How to create a pure CSS skin

How to create Horizontal CSS menus in DotNetNuke using the HouseMenu

The HouseMenu is pretty flexible, but there are some limitations in comparison to Solpart.
