Hi All

As suggested in the How to replace the solpart menu ... tutorial I wished to make this change because I found this menu is very slow to load.  The change worked fine but changing the ACTION token to DROPDOWNACTION also altered all other Action buttons so they now display as links instead of buttons and they display all even when they shouldent.

Does someone have an idea what could be wrong?

Thanks,

OrenG

that's interesting, I have never seen that before!

Could you attach the code for your skin/container as a zip file in the forum?

Thanks,

Lee

It's one of DNN Blue's skin containers with only the ACTION token change. (attached) However since you say you never saw it before I start to wander if it has anything to do with my site being a bilingual site.

Let me know if you need further information just note that I won't be around from tomorrow until Sun.

Thanks again,

OrenG

Hello,

I have the same problem using the container, it is caused by the way you have setup your actionbutton tokens. You need to specify the settings for each of your actionbutton tokens. As an example have a look at this:

< dnn:ACTIONBUTTON1 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON1" CommandName="AddContent.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="True" / >

Whereas in your code you have specified:
< dnn:ACTIONBUTTON1 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON1" / >

Compare your code with a container from the DNN blue skin and you will see how the action buttons should be constructed.

Thanks,

OK I see what I missed, it works perfect now, and I also learned something new, thanks.
