Hello Some time back we started tinkering with DNN v5, however we couldn't get it to work when trying to deploy using a non-standard port (ie. not port 80) Were there any tricks involved to get this to work? Using DNN 4.9.5 on a non-standard port seems to work fine, without having to "do anything extra"

In web.config ... "set UsePortNumber to true to preserve the port number if you're using a port number other than 80 (the standard)"

You may also have to use the port number in the portalalias table -- my memory is inconsistent on this point.
