Actually, you have a "ConentPane."

Add the missing "t" and it likely will work.

Thanks for the help,
I hoped it would be that simple, I added the missing "t" and I am getting the same error message. Thanks again for your help maybe DNN isn't for me at this time. My company is asking for results that I can not seem to produce quickly; although I did tell them it would be easy.

It is that simple, but you need to construct the skin file correctly.  I looked again and noticed that you have nothing in between the body tags.  The body tag is close immediately, and all of your skin code is outside of the body tags.

Take a look at one of the Minimal Extropy skin files and copy the structure of that.  If you do, you'll get much better results ...

I wouldn't dismiss DotNetNuke so quickly.

Thanks for your help,
I feel a little foolish, but things are moving again. But still not having much luck with building a professional looking skin. When using the main.css file and html (as a guide) which was created by our graphic designer the look of my skin is very cheesy, any suggestions?

We all make mistakes when learning, and we are here to help you, so it's no problem.

do you mean the original design by the graphic designer is cheesy? or the version that you have created into a DotNetNuke skin looks cheesy and the original looks okay?

I will need to see an image if you want feedback on the design, thanks,

But a course I am talking about the skin files I have design are cheesy. I thought that I would be able to copy and paste the main.css file or the html into DNN and life would be good…but it has proven not to be that simple (at least not for me).
I think I got frustrated after missing my deadline and make a lot of careless errors.
I looked at the Minimal Extropy skin files as you suggested, but decided to see if I could finish the skins files I started. What are the steps for changing the Minimal Extropy files?

Minimal Extropy is good as a reference, but I would not build your skin by editing the Minimal Extropy skin.

It will be possible to take most of the code from your main.css file and adapt it into your skin.css file, but there are certain changes that will need to be made.

Out of interest, have you viewed this tutorial which provides an example of how I have done this step-by-step, In particular how to change the original CSS file to be suitable for DotNetNuke:

Thank you again,
Because I am a newbie to DNN I started with creating the skin and contains tutorials. But now that I am under the gun I will take whatever steps needed to get this done. I am attempting to use the tutorial you suggested.
