Hi Lee,
Today's new problem is that when my Dnn site is accessed the cpu utilization hits 100%. Everything was working fine till the server was reinstalled. After the installation I just attached the .mdf and .ldf files for the DB.
Please do give a reply for this as things are getting pretty worse

Thanks in advance

Regards,
Bobby

Is this your database server or your website server?

Hmmm ... not sure. You might want to clear out the event log and transaction logs and see if that helps. Can you tell which processes are eating up the cpu? Task Manager might help for a first look.

Hi,
I cleared the event log. What is meant by Transaction log.Is it the Site log.Site log is disabled on the site. While checking Task manager Sql Server utilises the Cpu.

I have installed Sp2 for SQL server and also a hotfix for SP2 that Microsoft has recommended on the site.

Thanks,
Bobby

The times I have come across these problems are the logs, so make sure everything is cleared out as in this tutorials:
Site logs, Event logs and Scheduler

You may also want to disable any other elements running in the scheduler, such as the search engine. I did find the search engine scheduler struggled to index my site and caused problems.
