Right now I am creating a site for a school using DotNetNuke Version 4.8.4. On the left side of the page is where I have a set links. However not all links are in one module. One set is from the HouseMenu module and another set is the from the links module. When you view page in view mode, there is a blank line between those two modules. What I would like to do is get rid of that blank line so that when the page is viewed by a normal user, it looks like an evenly spaced set of links (in other words, the set of links looks like one set instead of two). I have tried modifiying and editing my stylesheets to do this, but I am having no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would view the source code of the page and see if you can identify what is being placed in between the two menus.

After that, have a look at IDs for each of the menus and make sure that the margin + padding is set to zero.

I took a look at the code and the HouseMenu portion is an unordered list while the Links portion is in a table. I have tried setting rules and properties for the IDs (such as the padding and margin) but they do not do anything (unless I am missing something here that is not making it work). If anybody has suggestions as to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it.

For reference in regards to my problem, you can visit www.shilohchristian.org/new and visit some of the pages to see what I am talking about in regards to the extra blank line in the links section along the left side of the page.

hello,

Looking at the source code, each table cell has padding of 4px, which is probably causing the extra space.

Have you thought about replacing this module with another house menu?

You could create a new page, set it to disabled and not display in the menu - and then for your links add any links as submenu items to this disabled page.

For the house menu, you can then set it to display the submenu items for the disabled page, under the the scope settings you just need to set the page/tab ID for the disabled page.

Thanks,
