hi velu,

try with admin / host logins, and check for your registered user role.

Or else delete the user, create with new one and try.

All the best!

When you create a new portal, DotNetNuke creates two administrative accounts/passwords:

host/dnnhost
admin/dnnadmin

If you have created a new user, you should be able to login to the site using the username/password pair that you created. If you can't login, can you use the "forgot password" link? If you can, you can try to reset the user's password. If you are using the correct username/password and still can't login, something else is wrong.

Can you login using either the host or admin accounts?

If you have created a new portal, can you see it without logging in? The new portal should have been created with a home page that is visible, even to those not logged in. After logging in, a user should be able to see the home page and any other pages that are visible to "Registered Users." You can view any page's permissions if logged in as host or admin.

Hi Craig,

I checked "forgot password" link also, its showing wrong username. Checked with Sql server table. its showing correct username only. still its showing wrong username and password.

I am not able to see new portal in Homepage without logging in also. But the new portal and username are created in Backend(Sql Server).

You might want to delete that portal and start again with it.
