Hola All, I went ahead and made the plunge and upgraded my live site to 4.8.4. Woo-hoo! No serious issues. The only thing I can't get to work again is CAPTCHA for my login. I went into User Settings and selected the option for "Use CAPTCHA For Login", I cleared the CACHE and Restarted the Application, still, no CAPTCHA form for login. Ideas? Thanks! Mark

Hi, Mark! My 04.08.03 site is showing that behavior. I get the CAPTCHA control on the Registration page when I ask for it, but I don't see it on the login control. Looking back in the forums (search for "captcha") I see that this has been reported, and for version 4.7, too.

Joe, I think I've solved the problem. Under Admin/Authentication, there is an option to enable CAPTCHA as well. So, two places MUST be checked off on to allow CAPTCHA. Under User Settings and then under ADMIN/AUTHENTICATION. Once I did that, I now see CAPTCHA. Not sure why you can see it on Registration page but not on Login. Are both settings checked off in your site? Mark

I'm glad that you're checking my work! Yes, that's the answer. I'm also glad that the upgrade to 4.8.4 went well. I hear that there will also be a 4.8.5 before we get to Cambrian ...
