Is it possible to remove the Main menu Bar which is at the top of the page of Dotnetnuke sites which contains the the search for the web or the site. If so, can you please help in guiding me how to remove it. If it cannot be removed, can we change the color or shape. I tried to change the color through the Css but it did not work.

Many thanks for the help.

This is part of the skin and certainly can be removed. I'd recommend that you begin by viewing some of the basic tutorials regarding skin construction.

Do you want to remove the menu, the search control, or both?

If you learn a little bit about skinning, you can do this easily by removing those controls from the skin file.

I would suggest you start by looking at: Issue no 5 and 6
