Hi,
 I have a requirement where I need to get page url which contains a specific word in its content.
I need to get the page url from the database s that when the generated url is clicked , the users should go to that page.

I found that Htmltext table is storing contents of the page but I don't know how to get the page url from that

Please help me with this.

Hi,

   I need to write a program which searches for a specific word in the contents of the all the pages in the dnn site
Eg: if I enter a word "About", then it should list all the pages which contains that word as its content

I looked into the database and found that HtmlText table is storing the contents of the page.

But how can I get the page url based on that

eg:http://www.dnncreative.com/Forum/tabid/88/ something like this

Only contents of Text/HTML modules is stored in the HtmlText table. Other modules store data in other tables.

There is no place where page contents are stored, because pages are built dynamically.

If you were to search HtmlText for certain words, you could then work your way back to the module, to the page that the module is on, to the tabid, etc. I think that this most likely would be a nightmare.

You might want to spend your time looking at how the DotNetNuke search stuff works, and use that to locate words and their pages. The search results page contains links to the pages that contain the search terms.
