I looked through some of the resources links and found that many of them were quite dated and some links were dead.

I think you should consider having a date feature on this type of link.  It can be admin viewable only or public.

When a link is added, it would be dated.  This would keep that resource relevant.

Along the same lines I believe this should be done with your Article resources as well.

One method you could use for this would be to tag them with a DNN version.  If for example you have an article that was created for DNN 4.1 you would give click on that tag.  If upon reviewing that content you find the information is still applicable to DNN 4.8 then you would simply click that tag as well.

Users could then filter the content to match their installation.

Sounds like work to me but well worth it to maintain the highest level of quality.

You could persist the filter by adding that as a new profile property.  The side benefit for you is that you would know exactly what your users need.

Hello,

Thanks for the suggestion, we are currently updating the module directory and the resources section. - Richard, our new general manager is working his way through them right now.

The only problem with tagging them by version 4.1, 4.8 etc. is that most of the modules will be backwards / forwards compatible, so it's never quite so fine cut when specifying versions. - Perhaps a 3.x, 4.x, 5.x tag would be more suitable though.

Any further suggestions are welcome on how we can improve the listings, thanks,
