Hi,

We would like to hire someone to upgrade DNN 3.x to 4.x for one our clients.  We are not DNN pros so let me know what kind of detail you need to give me a sense of what it will cost to perform.  The plan is to complete this in January.

I'll be notified of replies and can chat via phone anytime next week...

Thanks!

Regards,
Eric

If you take a look at How to Upgrade DotNetNuke v3.x to v4.4.1 you should get an idea of the process.

I would recommend that you do that upgrade, and then upgrade to the current release in a couple of steps.

Hey Joe,

Thanks for that!  I hear DNN is pretty straightforward but we're not DNN guys at all and need to avoid the learning curve.  So, we really need to have someone experienced with DNN and the propoer upgrade path jump in and make it happen.

If you know anyone that would be awesome.

Thanks!!
Eric

Eric,

Contact me.  In concert with the person who's gotten me into DNN module development, I wrote a stored procedure which virtually automates a 3.x to 4.4.1 upgrade.  My good friend has recently streamlined on the procedure and we could do the work for you if it's not done already or did not quite go right.

My name is Mike Durthaler, here's my contact info:

Durthaler Tech Services
PO Box 4236
Newark, Ohio 43058-4236

740 739 4498 - Laptop
740 877 1178 - Cell
mdurthaler@sbcglobal.net

I did this work under contract with Ovionx, LLC so their CCBO (Chief Cook & Bottle Washer ) owns the procedure and the work would be done by me via contract with them.  We're pretty reasonable.

Let me know if you're interested.

Best,

Mike
