Can't seem to delete skins on my host portal It says "can't be deleted because they're in use"   but they aren't?? Anybody know whats going on.

Also i checked my root / portals/ skins folder in the dmnn installation and only some of the skins show up????

These are probably 2 different issues.

Help anyone???

I have had this issue before. Not sure what makes it happen. They will disapear after about 2 or 3 hours. If you send a ticket to your hosting company they can remove them but this often takes longer!

You need to make sure that the skins really aren't being used. Perhaps you have some hidden pages? Restarting the application from the Host Settings page should clear anything that's cached.

As for skin locations, you can install skins at the host level for access from all sites, or you can install at the site level. Skins stored by host are located in Portals/_default/skins.

You need to make sure that the skins really aren't being used.

An example of this is if you have deleted a page which uses the old skin and the page is still in the recycle bin. - Empty your recycle bin first.
