Hi
I have created a skin and I need to stop the cells from reducing in width below a certain number. I have tried inserting a .gif image but when i upload the skin I get an error. Can you tell me the correct way to achieve this.

Thanks

I assume by "cells" you mean the panels?

Putting in an image is certainly NOT the way to go. You can, though, add a minimum width to the style:

min-width:200px;

I have added a cell width into the cell properties as well as into the css style left pane(this is in dreamweaver when creating the skin layout). The issue is that if i apply this to the left pane when i put a module into the content pane it reduces the width of the left pane. I need to stop the cell reducing to below a set width no matter what is in the left pane.
I hope this makes sence.

Did you add a minimum width, too?

I assume that when I add a width to the css this indecates the minimum width! If this is not the case how do I do this.

No. As I mentioned in the earlier message, you can specifiy a min-width setting. You might want to take a look at http://www.htmldog.com/reference/cssproperties/min-height/. If you google, you'll find various discussions that IE doesn't honor min-width, but there are hacks to deal with it.
