Greetings

I have just discovered that the host i am using clears out log files every day. I am therefore seeking out a module that will pull the site logs out for analysis. We need to go back a couple of months to check traffic trends and how our navigation is working.  I know we can also use google analysis but i was hoping to be able to use a program to do reports on the log files. Any ideas of suitable modules. Thanks. H

I'd suggest that you either periodically dump the site logs yourself, or making a deal with your host to provide them to you before clearing them.

I assume that the ISP is PowerDNN. They were doing it to me and I just asked them to stop and Tony gladly did.

Now I have added PageBlaster to speed up my site, and since it caches so many pages my SiteLogs are less useful. I have added a Text/HTML module on every page, with the Goggle Analytics code in the header and "Display Container" un-checked. I now use Google Analytics for my main portal and all of the parent portals. I still look at the SiteLog now and again, since Google Analytics doesn't track any search engine indexing.
