I already have icons assigned for all other menu items EXCEPT for the Admin menu item itself. Where do I go to do this?

I checked Admin/Settings but I didnt find it.

thanks

Hello,

The admin menu icons are programmed in, there is not an easy way to change them.

You can either edit the details directly in the Database (in the Tabs table / IconFile column) - Or the other easier alternative will be to locate the current icon files in your dnn installation and replace them with the icons you wish to use - but use the same icon names so that they are automatically picked up.

- You will find them in the images folder and the icons are named 'icon_ . . .'

If you don't want to modify the original icons, just rename them as icon_xxx-original. It will be easy to restore them if you ever decide to do that.

And, as Lee mentioned, you can go into the database and edit the file names. For example, you could name your icons 'myicon_..." , put them in the same directory as the original icons, and then edit the database table to match them.

It isn't a real big deal. Like Lee, I'd probably save the original icons by renaming them and uploading new icons with the original names.
