Hi,
I am setting up a website that is used for online video guitar lessons.
The video files are being converted to .flv files and i am using an 'alive media player' module to play them. It all works fine.
I am wondering what is the best way to store / host my .flv files.
At the moment i have only a few videos that i have ftp'd into my root, but in the future i may have over 100 video files and each file is around 35MB in size.
Is it OK to keep ftp'ing the files to my site or is there a better method of hosting these .flv files.
Cheers everyone.
Matt.

FTP should be fine. - I would recommend you set up a folder / naming format as early as possible as once you have a lot of files on there it could be a nightmare keeping track of them all.

For DNN C I host my videos on 2 separate servers to the main site. One is in America and the other is in the UK, this is because some users were having problems in certain parts of the world downloading files from an American server. I also found that this eases the load on the main DNN C website servers. - I found that in the beginning when all files were hosted on the main website server that the server would be brought down by the numbers of people downloading the videos. - so something worth thinking about,

Thanks,
