Hi,

We recently migrated our system from one server to another. We have succeefully change the machine key and usernames/passwords in the database.

We are able to successfully login to a DNN as host or admin using Firefox but, when we try using Internet Explorer we get nothing, (not even a bad password response) it just redirects to back to the home page.

Can anyone help.

Thank you.

Hello,

I occassionally get that problem from users on DNN Creative. The solution is usually to just delete all cookies related to the website as they have somehow become corrupted. - Give this a try and see if it helps,

Thanks,

I'm having this same problem. Can't log in with IE but Firefox works fine. I tried clearing my browser's cache, clearing my DNN cache but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

could be the security settings in IE preventing the storage of cookies

I am having the same problem using IE7 DNN 4.4.0 on multiple computers so I think that clearing the cookies would solve the problem.
Can it be from the DNN version?

If you can't login from multiple machines, I'd double check the machine keys and then entire web.config file.

What particular problem are you having? Give us some details and see if we can help solve your problem.

If you can't login after an upgrade, it's most likely a Machine Key issue in the web.config files.
