So I am getting reday to set up a website for my company and while I have worked with Dot.Net.Nuke previously I did not start up the process. What I am asking is what are the steps to setting it up on the server and getting a host and getting a domain name?

I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks-

For a hosting provider I would suggest first reading through the treads here. I use webhost4life, but can not fully recommend them unless your looking to start the site on the cheap end of the scale. Some of my research indicates PowerDNN.com is a solid hosting provider, but not cheap.

As far as setuping up DotNetNuke, I would simply read the documentation that comes with the installation download. Most hosting providers will have an automated installation process, or will be very helpful in getting DNN setup on your server. I would suggest giving it a try on your local machine first. Come back here if you have question, or run into problems.

Good luck and have fun!

Hello,

You can also check out this tutorial:
Installing DotNetNuke 3.2 to a website hosting provider

Which will give you an idea, you just need to enable ASP.NET 2.0 for DNN v 4.3.x

Most DNN hosting providers will install DNN for you however.

 - I can also recommend PowerDNN - I have negotiated a discount with them, have a look at this page:
http://www.skinningtoolkit.com/WebsiteHostedBy/tabid/199/Default.aspx

Skinning toolkit is hosted by them and they have very fast servers.

Thanks,
