Good Morning Mate!

Well, tock a nice lazy break over the weekend, but with a bit of work.

I brought the Note-Book along and looked through Issue 26 – 28 of your tutorials. Probably going to save you guys 1000-plus questions.

But here’s a couple anyway: Regarding the Curiously _ Green Skin.

You recommend I have one H1 Container and the H2 Containers in the content pane.

And the H3 Container in the Left Pane?

This must mean that I have to specify containers individually in the Module settings???

I also installed the template before I created this Portal, and got this error:

“Curiously_green.template is not a valid Portal Template File.”

Seems like I misunderstood your instructions from last week Lee?  (Below)

Cheers..

Olle...

You need to use the correct container for the content panes, otherwise the text will not display correctly in the bittersweet skin.

I would suggest you install the template that comes with the bittersweet skin so you can see how the content can be added to the page.

I would recommend you install the skin using the host menu
upload the template files
create a new portal, and while creating the portal select the new template

Hello,

Ah - I was getting confused with which skin you were referring to, I thought you meant the greenery skin!

Which version of DotNetNuke are using? Some of the earlier point releases had a bug when using portal templates.

Set up for the curiously green skin, I recommend:

In the site settings use:
skin: curiously green - index with logo
container: curiously green - h1 content

For the Home page of the template, the first module has this in its title:

Welcome to Curiously< span >.Green< sup >1.0!< /sup >< / span >

(spaces added so that are displayed in the forum)

- No container is specified for this as it automatically uses the H1 content container specified in the site settings.

h1, h2, h3 and box containers can be used in the content pane.

In the left pane I used the page 3 container.

Of course, you can just place a H1 container in the content pane and then add h2 and h3 tags for titles without using another container.
