I have a single hosting package with DNN.  I understand how to create and manage mutliple parent portals, each with its own unique domain name.
However, I am not sure how I can give each portal its own email addresses. i.e. I'd like to have admin@domain1.com, admin@domain2.com  , info@domain3.com etc.

I can configure the hosting environment through Helm which gives me the options of :
Email accounts (POP3) - this only allows me to create emails with the main domain name (not the domain name aliases)
Multi-recipient Addresses - again I can only redirect to other emails with the main domain name.

How is this normally achieved?  Should there be other configuration options that my hosting provider is not giving me?

Thanks

You'd have to ask your hosting company if this is possible.

Hi Joe,
Yes, I already did that before posting the message and they said it can't be done. What I am trying to determine is if it is technically feasible, but it's just that my hosting company does not support it.
How do others set up custom email accounts on multiple portals on a single DNN hosting?
Can anyone recommend a hosting company that does support this (if feasible)?
Thanks

easycgi.com

I have a single site wth 47 portals (www.dnnclass.com) with 8 parked domains. Each parked domain has its own accounts and refer to the parent portals. In addition I have 4 independent DNN installations on same account. Check it out at www.easycgi.com. You can link to via www.dnnclass.com ( non cost teaching site) and click on Easycgi ad and help support the teaching site.

It's certainly feasible to have multiple domains serviced by an email system. That's exactly what your hosting company is doing.
