The article and demos discussed token replacement in selected modules such as UDT and Text/HTML. Also mentioned possibility of using tokens in other modules in future.

So is there any news/update on either availability or plans for use of this token system in other modules?

Are the tokens discussed in the article completely separate from the tokens used for skin objects by the skinning mechanism? Or do they work with each other?

For example, can a token like [Portal : PortalName] be used by the skinning system?
 
If not, are there any plans to devise a token system that is consistent throughout all of DotNetNuke? If so, is that what is planned for the Cambrian release?

How about doing an interview with a core team member and publishing it in the next issue? You could relay our concerns and ask our questions? And all your subscribers would benefit!!!

As far as I know, the token system is planned for future implementation in other modules.

The tokens are separate from the tokens that are used in skinning.

The skinning engine will probably change in the Cambrian release, but I do not have any information on those changes.
