Has the news feed worked in the past? Have you made any recent changes? The news feed link does deliver data. Are you using the DotNetNuke Newsfeed module? I have it on a test site and it works with the feed link that you posted. |

We moved this to a new server, and it's running .net 4.0 now instead of 2.5. However, I switched the version back to 2.5 and that gives me errors. When I leave it with 4, it just doesn't show anything. I am using the DNN news feed module. I might just try uinstalling it and re-installing it. |

I would look to see if there is an updated module, too. |

Has there been any resolution to this query. I have exactly the same problem. I am using latest version of the module on a DNN7 site. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still doesn't display anything, even though there is news data in the cache. |

Hmmm, I'm seeing something similar in a test site, but need to look at it to try to debug it. |

But ... now there is news to report thanks to Richard English and friends: I worked with Robb Bryn to solve this problem. It was due to .NET 4.5 being installed on the server. Even though the app pool was set to run at 4.0, because the .NET 4.5 update is applied on top of .NET 4.0 as opposed to a side by side install, like previous .NET upgrades, it affected the RSS news module. The new version of the RSS news feed requires DNN 7. So the solution is to upgrade to 7.0 or as Robb Bryn pointed out try and force the site to run in 4.0 mode by setting the We opted not to upgrade, at this point, and manually update the homepage with an html module and eliminate the RSS News module. Thank you for the feedback. New site is on version 7 so I will check which version of RSS news feed we are running. |

Are there any errors in the event log? Are there any javascript errors if you open the browser's developer tools and look at the Console? |
