ANy current info on sIFR image replacement for DNN?
On a broader category, I'm surprised there's no discussion of jQuery plugin implementations.
There is a jQuery plugin for sIFR here.
The DnnCreative reference is a year or so old now, and there was mention of a security concern?
Thanks for any updates!

Hello,

The security concern was for a certain version of sIFR, later versions were fixed. It put me off using sIFR as the later versions were all beta versions and there is no guarantee that a security hole wont slip back into these builds. (One of my sites was attacked through the earlier version of sIFR, so I learnt from experience)

It's easier to keep track of security issues with DNN, but plugging in additional beta software may leave your site open to other attacks.

Having said this, that is the only security issue I have come across with sIFR so you may find it is safe to use, just bear in mind the potential risk.

For installing, it will be very similar to the tutorial, so the tutorial should introduce you to the basic principles, perhaps we will re-visit sIFR when v5 of DNN is released and the skinning engine has changed.

Thanks,
